Tennis Australia has issued a warning to the ATP that any attempt to stage a new ATP 1000 tournament in Saudi Arabia in the opening week of the season would be considered a breach of the existing contract between Tennis Australia and the tour.


Previously, the ATP denied the appearance of the 10th Masters in Saudi Arabia.


Tennis Australia has an existing agreement with the ATP and WTA to host the United Cup in Week 1, which runs until 2029 with the possibility of extension.
