Wesley Sneijder will discuss the possibility of becoming a coach with the UEFA president.


The former Real Madrid, Inter, Ajax and Netherlands midfielder wants to become a coach. To do this, in 2021, he took a coaching course from the Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB), but left before completing the program.


The 38-year-old ex-footballer said he would go to UEFA headquarters in Nyon next week to denounce the issue with union president Alexander Ceferin.


I want to see if he can arrange something.


I`ve often read that I don`t want to study [to become a coach], but that`s not true. I wanted to train less in the field, but the KNVB couldn`t offer me that. I thought to myself: Let me join the top coaches in the Netherlands, then I can see and feel everything up close. It didn`t work, so I stopped [training], " Sneijder explained in an interview with Veronica Offside.
