Verstappen shared his expectations for the upcoming Monaco Grand Prix.


The Red Bull driver believes that at the stage in Monte Carlo the team will in any case face a difficult test and competition from its closest pursuers.


According to Max, the form of rivals from McLaren in the last race at Imola says little about the current situation in the context of the next Grand Prix.


It doesn`t mean anything because at the Monaco Grand Prix everything will be completely different again. But yes, as you can see, now the gaps have become minimal. In the last race I was a little faster on the medium, but then, on the hard, the pace was not so high.


And in the end, we arrived at the finish in approximately the same position in which we started the race. The fight was very tight, and the Monaco Grand Prix always turns out to be quite tense and hectic.


In Monaco you have to do everything perfectly to get a good lap in qualifying, you have to be able to make the tires work at key stages of the race, and this is always difficult. The Monaco Grand Prix is truly a special stage in this sense, " Verstappen said.
