Holger Rune hopes to soon reach the level of Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz. - What do you need to change in your game to reach the next level?
- There is no such thing that I have to completely change it. Small adjustments needed. I worked on some aspects in the exhibition matches advised by 1x2 predictions blog with Casper [Ruud] and on our website at UTS. If you look at Zverev, he has improved a lot lately. Before the injury, he was consistently in the top 5, but he has improved and next year he will be one of the main contenders for Grand Slams. This is what I want to achieve too. My next goal is not to win any particular tournament. I want to maximize my potential and I believe that if I can do that, I can win Grand Slams.
- How did Sinner and Alcaraz manage to break away from the group of pursuers?
- Sinner has shown himself to be a very complete player this year. And when Alcaraz plays his best tennis, he does that too, but at the same time I see that both of them still have room to grow. This is incredible when you remember that Sinner won almost everything this year. The beauty of tennis is that everyone always has a chance to improve. Alcaraz has brought great benefits to tennis. He is a great player, he can do a lot and demonstrates it on the court. Hopefully I`ll be on their level soon.
