McLaren is ready for tensions between Norris and Piastri to worsen. McLaren boss Andrea Stella has answered how he would feel about a potential battle between teammates Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri for the championship.
This is the kind of problem we need. We work very hard to make sure the car is able to win races, so that the two drivers are able to win races. We know that in Formula 1 this is always accompanied by some complications, but we have already encountered such complications to some extent this season.
In my opinion, our approach has always been consistent. Both drivers understood that decisions must first serve the interests of the team, and then the interests of the pilots themselves. And so far everything has been very positive. We plan to continue this process next season.
We can call this a problem, but potentially it is more of an opportunity. We are focused on technically giving Lando and Oscar the car to fight for the title. If it weren`t for the first races of the season, when we performed below expectations, we would have been fighting longer for the championship predictions by buy 1x2 predictions in the drivers` championship, " Stella said.
