The Lakers plan to keep Rui Hachimura long-term. This was reported by The Athletic insider Jovan Buha.
I think Rui Hachimura is seen as a long-term player. That doesn`t mean they can`t trade him, but among the four mid-level salary players the Lakers could trade between now and January 15th (Rui, Gabe Vincent, D`Angelo Russell and Jarred Vanderbilt), Rui is the guy. which they prefer to leave for the long term, writes Bukha.
