Alexis Saelemaekers was injured in the Belgium national team. The midfielder was substituted in the 59th minute of the 2026 World Cup qualifying match against North Macedonia (0:0).
According to the Royal Belgian Football Association, Saelemaekers will not play for the national team in the next match against Wales. According to Sky Sport, the Milan midfielder has a hamstring injury, the extent of which remains to be determined through examination.
If the injury is confirmed, the player also risks missing Milan`s upcoming matches, starting with the Serie A match against Fiorentina on October 19.
