The team of Inter achieved a convincing victory with 3-0 in their visit to Sassuolo, which opened the ninth round in Serie `A`. The goals were scored by Alexis Sanchez (4 `), Vlad Kirikes (14 `- own goal) and Roberto Gallardini (60 `). This was the first loss for the `neroverds` this season.
Antonio Conte had made three changes to his squad. Mateo Darmian and Ivan Perisic started on the flanks, and Romelu Lukaku was given a break, so Lautaro Martinez`s partner in attack was Alexis. The hosts were ranked 4-2-3-1, with their striker Giacomo Raspadori, assisted by Jeremy Boga, Filip Djuricic and Domenico Berardi.

In the 21st minute, Djuricic`s technical shot licked the far post. In the 35th minute, Samir Handanovic managed a shot by Rogerio, and three minutes later a shot by Jeremy Tolyan. Kirikesh`s nightmarish participation in the match analyzed by partners of 1x2 predictions ended in the 42nd minute, when he was forcibly replaced due to injury. Two minutes later, Manuel Locatelli shot with his head in the out.


In the 54th minute Darmian centered to Lautaro, but his shot flew over the door. In the 60th minute, the midfielder found Gallardini on the edge of the penalty area with a new pass, and he increased the lead of the `Nerazzurri` even more with a great shot. In the 67th Alexis tried a volley, which turned out to be inaccurate. In the 85th minute, Lukaku also scored, but the goal was disallowed due to an obvious ambush.




Thus, Inter came in second place in the standings with an asset of 18 points and surpassed Sassuolo only by a goal difference.
