Lakers point guard Russell Westbrook admitted that he enjoyed the team effort that helped the team to their first win of the season.


Lonnie Walker (18 points) and Austin Reeves (10 points) were instrumental in the Lakers` 17-0 spurt in the third quarter against the Nuggets (121-110).


I like to see how my teammates are doing well. I enjoy seeing others succeed. Throughout my career, I have been inspired by seeing others succeed.


And tonight I saw the guys hit the ring, give all the best, fight for the victory. What else can you dream of? Westbrook said.


Westbrook recorded 18 points (6 of 12 from the field), 8 rebounds and 8 assists in 32 minutes off the bench.
