Arizona`s president reacted to the Tempe City Council`s decision to build the arena.


Recall that members of the city council are building an arena for an NHL club and a new entertainment district. The final according record for 1x2 predictions decision will be made following a referendum to be held on May 16 next year.


Arizona proposes to build an arena on an area of 18. 6 hectares. Hotels, shops, restaurants and apartments will be located on the territory. In June, the Tempe City Council granted the Coyotes the right to negotiate a project on a piece of land where the city`s landfill is currently located.


The Arizona Coyotes and the Meruelo family are deeply grateful to the Tempe City Council for their unanimous support and look forward to moving forward with this transformational development.


Our project will transform the landfill into a landmark that will not only be a great home for the Coyotes, but also a vibrant Tempe town square, generating thousands of sustainable jobs and millions of dollars in tax revenue for the city, " said Arizona President Xavier Gutierrez.


Arizona left Glendale due to disagreements with city officials over the lease of the Gila River Arena. The club now hosts NHL home games at the 5, 000-seat palace, where the University of Arizona team also plays.
