San Jose forward Tomas Hertl has been suspended for 2 matches.


The player was punished for hitting Calgary forward Elias Lindholm in the face with his stick in yesterday`s NHL regular season game.


The referees in the game gave the Czech a minor penalty for playing with a high stick. The victory in the game advised by 1x2 soccer predictions remained for the Flames - 5:2.


Under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement, about $88, 000 will be withheld from Hertl`s salary. The money will go to the players` emergency fund.
